Hiya Folks, I'm new here!!
Recently I acquired an used but well looked after PowerBook Titanium 867Mhz unfortunately the seller only included Leopard retail installer disks 8-o Posting the seller question results in no answers what so ever! However couldn't be more over the moon!! As I paid little more than a hundred notes for this machine and it's good as new!! Anyway, here's where my problems start :
Now I've been a user of Apple products for years but I seem to be missing something from my collection. To run Classic MacOS9 on this powerbook it's gotta be version 9.2.x or later; however.. the most recent copy I have is 9.0.1 (retail) and this machine simply hates it!! Anyway via a round about way I've managed to install the PowerMac G4 version of 9.2.2 on the PowerBook Ti and managed to get the thing to boot but it's not perfect! Seems there's drivers missing for the built-in graphics card/chip, so it's kind choppy and being new to the Titanium I have no idea what display acceleration extension/plug-in's I need; are they even available?
