Don't be silly! What really needs to go in that slot is an adapter to interface with the systems of a highly advanced rocket ship!!A microscope controller and video capture card?
But U1 on the Belkin, the 2052 chip, looks like it has a notchNo notch needed if they just cross the package from left to right. It's the same either way up.
Sorry, I meant U2 (I can't see what U1 is in the photo I'm looking at) was of interest, then I worked out it was an overcurrent protection chip, it meant it isn't equivalent to the filter that LP2 is part of. LP2 isn't a 2053.But U1 on the Belkin, the 2052 chip, looks like it has a notch
But I don't have one of those cards. Are they available for 5v PCI slots? I only have NuBus cards like that.Don't be silly! What really needs to go in that slot is an adapter to interface with the systems of a highly advanced rocket ship!!

Who can help?A high quality scan of the Rev A iMac logicboard might reveal some clues.
Do you have USB drivers installed? Aren't they not installed by default in classic macOS unless a USB controller exists? Does ioreg in Mac OS X show more info? There is no USB bus shown at the top of the window, but maybe I'd have to populate more of the supporting circuitry to get that to show?
I do. I actually tested the donor card out right before starting to move parts, and it was fully working including showing the USB bus in ASP.Do you have USB drivers installed? Is there any way to get the new (or old) owner to send a hi-res photo of their personality card?Sorry, I can't help but I can provide an external view of the USB equipped personality card I saw on FB.
Guess who shared the picture on FB ...?
This is like the one I bought as a donor card. I see it doesn’t have a protection circuit installed, instead using fuses - the CMD 0870 documentation offers three different methods for over-current protection, with fuses being the cheap and cheerful option, but less reliable than using an IC.In case it helps...

Good luck. These buyers/sellers generally want to keep as much secret as possible to increase the "rarity" and "value".Is there any way to get the new (or old) owner to send a hi-res photo of their personality card?
Ever tempted to add ADB and a floppy drive?Not sure it's "high"-enough, but pretty sure mine's a Rev.A :
