Games with color that run on Macintosh IIci

I'm pretty new to the world of gaming on a Macintosh IIci but have really started to enjoy the machine, especially playing Crystal Quest in color. It's so much nicer looking IMHO running on my IIci verses my Mac SE/30. As for specs on my IIci computer, I'm using the built in video and my machine has 32 MB RAM and also the 32KB cache card.
 
So here is my request, I'm looking for a decent list of games that have Macintosh IIci color friendly versions. What I'm hoping for is a chronology of when games came out (year wise) to help figure out what would run ok on my semi stock Macintosh IIci. 
 
Any game title suggestions would be appreciated or a link to a list, even if not totally complete, maybe a top 10 of your favorite games?  One game specifically I'd love to track down is a color version of is Lemmings. Thank you in advance.

Spaceward Ho!   turn based space conquest game.   Kind of like Empire in space.

Empire Deluxe

Pathways into Darkness      1st person shooter; Bungie's second release.   Runs on the IIci okay.  Good puzzles, not just shooting.

Maxis was a staple of homes and low-cost 68k Macs. Some lesser known ones still hold up in their own way, like A-Train and El-Fish, besides the obvious Sim series titles (SimTower!).

"Quarterstaff: The Tomb of Setmoth", published by Infocom, is a Mac exclusive classic often overlooked.

Pathways, as mentioned by Trag, has a fantastic online strategy guide from the fellow behind Marathon's Story. It also has some nice vintage cheating apps to get around the difficulty, if you really would rather play for the puzzles alone.

The Colony is a 3D game that's made to run on compact Macs, very easy to die in it and it has its game breaking moments, but it's fun for what it is. A color version is out there and works fine on all 68k Macs, probably will run too fast on anything more recent.

Lemmings - You mentioned this, I agree it's a must-have.

Vette! - Way ahead of its time. Though colour version I've had issues with some Mac's (later ones especially).

Oregon Trail - should go without saying!

SimCity -. TBH, most earlier Maxis stuff will be great on the si.

Wolfenstein 3D - Though you will probably have to run this in postage-stamp mode).

Monkey Island - 2 might be a bit choppy.

Dark Castle - Colour versions.

Leisure Suit Larry 1 - Maybe 5 too though might be a little choppy.

PGA Tour - Really fun golf game, a very good (Amiga?) port.

Super Maze Wars (network it with your SE/30 and find a friend to play with for the best experience)

Space Quest III - Really fun, if a bit unforgiving. Not a well optimized port though.

Prince of Persia - A bit clunky on control but as mentioned, it's a good one to look out for.

Il add more if I think of anything!

My advice, get yourself a FloppyEmu and you can get whatever floppy games you 2ith with 100% reliability (mostly). Not cheap, but you won't regret it.

Late reply but I'm kind of bummed I missed this.  Had a Iici back in the day so here are a few more from memory.  The IIci is great!  A real powerhouse for its era, nice form factor but expandable, soft power unlike some of its contemporary brethren, and absolutely flies if you stick an 040 in it.

Thank you for the list of games. I'm pretty new to the IIci but so far loving this machine. I've got it upgraded to 128mb RAM, I've recapped the board, cleaned up the case and added a SCSI2SD card. Last night I actually cleaned and lubed my floppy drive, so now that's a happy camper too.

As for sticking an 040 in it, I'd love to do that but don't want to pay an arm and leg for one. I'd also like a proper Mac IIci CRT for my machine, but for now just using a LCD with a adapter until I can find a decent CRT.

As I'm sure you know the AppleColor 13" Hi-Resolution display would be the correct historical match, issued with the Mac II and still current with the Iici (Apple later issued a smaller 12" version to go with the LC).  Like this one:

Indeed, that's the monitor I'd want to get, however IMHO that specific listing seems a little rich on price, especially the shipping, unless $200 +/- shipped is the going rate for that specific monitor.

Nice. Dark Castle in B&W is nice, however in color it's really awesome!

My brother used to play Escape Velocity from Ambrosia Software on my parents’ IIsi. As I recall it ran pretty well. It has sequels too. 

Should run even better on IIci.

So a friend of mine found a game called Sky Shadow that came out in 1990. It's done by the same folks who did Crystal Quest. The game is in color and uses 16 color mode. It reminds me a lot of Scramble and is really fun!
