Free Amigas

Just picked up today a amiga 1000, amiga 500. 1 amiga monitor and 1 commodore monitor plus a box full of software etc....its very dirty and needs to be cleaned up. but it was free

yes it does have a keyboard and mouse. no upgrades that i know of. it was supposed to be $20 but the guy just let me have it for free

The A1000 mouse has that angled connector making it useless on the other models. Still I like the smaller keyboard and how it tucks in underneath the CPU.

You know there used to be a Mac emulator that would run on these things.... A-Max! that was it. And apparently Basilisk II has an Amiga version as well.

Once you inevitably get tired of trying to do anything useful with this stuff, you can send me the Amy monitor and I won't even charge you. Which model # did you get?

ive gotten the 1000 and the 500 to boot up to workbench 1.3 but thats about all. i have a small box full of games and apps on disk i will have to try

actuallly the 2 mice i have for the amigas are the same and work on both the 500 and the 1000.

That would be the normal 500/2000 mouse. I have a 1000 mouse here and it will work on any Amiga, but you would have to put something under the machine to install the mouse since it would hit the table.

I just keep it incase I get a 1000 someday (or trade it for something else).

Never throw out working equipment.

MacG4 are you going to take pics of the Amigas? Curious about how the 1000 looks.

Whoa, were these on craigslist?? If so, small world... I was looking at picking those up...

yeah they sure were. he was the guy in ames asking $20 for them. but he ended up just letting me have them for free...so even better

Those Commodore monitors make great TV monitors for watching DVDs etc, or for an AV Mac's video out

yeah im sure they do...they are really no different than a older 13" tv

no no I mean what kind of monitors (model #s)

I have an Ami 500 and a 1200. But no monitor [:(] ]'>

Also a couple C64s but for those I have excess monitors!
