Duo Dock won't boot.

When i put the my duo 2300c into the original duo dock after it has been sitting for a few weeks it boots just fine and runs for about a minute then shuts down. Each time i start it up after this it runs for an even shorter period of time and eventually does not work at all. When i push the power button it clicks and then the fan spins for a second, then dies. I have replaced "the tick of death" capacitors with 100uf caps. I have also removed the nubus cards, vram, floppy, HD and have had no luck. The powerbook duo does work just fine when not in the dock and is running system 7.6.1. Does anyone else have this problem or know a way to fix it? :?:

Oops, missed those last couple of sentences.

The reason for asking was that I had a problem with a 2300c caused by overheating of a transformer on the logic board (one of those square thingies towards the left under the keyboard). The overheating was much worse in a Dock than out of the Dock; it would maybe last 3-4 mins. in and maybe 15 mins. out. I ended up having to replace the logic board.

On the non-working DuoDock, I suspect that there are more problems than the standard fix suggests (it is now an ancient fix, after all). I have two DuoDocks, both of which have had the tick of death fix carried out, and one of them is as dead as ever, in the sense that it ticketh on. Presumably other capacitors have gone bad....
