I've recently acquired a Genesis MP. However, the original multiprocessor card was replaced long ago with a Sonnet G3 upgrade card.
I realize that finding the 4-proc card will be a stretch. In the meantime, I'm trying to determine if the dual-proc card from a 9600/180MP would be a drop-in in the Genesis.
My research seems to indicate that the Genesis logicboard is based on the Apple Tsunami architecture, as is the 9600MP. My quick Google searching hasn't come up with a definitive answer on whether I could put the Apple dual-proc card in the Genesis.
Any thoughts from the collective on whether this seems like a viable option?
Or - does anyone have a Daystar 2 or 4 proc card that they will part with for cash or goodies?
