Cool thing I saved from the trash

It’s not really a conquest, as much as a cool thing I have.

Someone I know, will put things in the garage “for storage”, and then 6 months later he’ll tell me it went into the trash….

Well… I got to this before he did it again..

Travel case for compact Macintoshes.

Hard plastic, room for HDD, and space under, for cables & keyboard (Not pictured)

I know he flew it to LA & back in the 90’s.

There’s no markings or branding on it anywhere.

Even though I'm showing a classic II, it came with a SE/30 that was save from the trash too..

Hah, nice find. I kinda want a bag/case to carry a compact Mac in myself, but since I don't have such a case or bag already and they're more expensive than I'd like them to be, I might be consigned to making one myself... I dunno. Could be cool, making that sort of thing. :O

I've got a 3rd party bag (West Ridge Designs), that came with the $17 512kE that I bought at a Unique thrift store in '97, And I keep all that together...

Wicked cool, best case I've seen short of a custom ZeroHalliburton.  Padding would be nice, but HUGE! That's perfect for the trunk of a car, if not baggage on a plane.

Glad I looked for pics, hit end and check out the bottom of this page: TOTERMAC

There are larger size Mac bags out there to accommodate an LC with a 12" monitor, plus keyboard and mouse. About a year ago, I bought an LCII in one of those bags.

I had a cloth bag for the ImageBanger WC back when it was my ThunderScanner, that was awesome for carrying all kinds of stuff.
Did you see the one that Concorde 1993 has FS?

Tons of room on the inside, and pockets all over the outside.

It looks big enough to make it so heavy, that it wouldn't be portable. Ha!

I don't need one, but if I did, I'd get it for $30.

Nice case and no markings is a plus, especially back when baggage handlers seemed to think anything valuable was fair game. They probably wouldn't be that interested in a sewing machine which is kind of what it looks like.

I think I might be willing to sell this..... What would you pay, and, well..... I know that only a few of you would use it... I'd rather sell it to real 68k user for $50, rather than a a profiteer (pirate), for $150....  and than re-sell it as  RARE $400 blah, blah, blah....
