Color Classic/Mystic weird video issue

Just got my CC out to test a logicboard someone send me for a recap.

Popped in the logicboard, everything was fine, popped my LC575 board back in and booted up the machine again because why not if it's already sitting on my desk.

Everything was fine as well until I picked another system folder and restarted the machine. It booted but the monitor did not come up. You could hear it was working just fine so I shut it down, checked if the logicboard was seated correctly and fired it back up.

This time it was giving me this:

When I pop in either my original CC board or the extra board I have here for recap everything is fine, so it has to be a logicboard issue.

What the heck is going on here?

Sidenote: analogboard has the 640x480 mod done "the right way". Logicboards - CC as well as 575 - are stock.

Perhaps upon reinserting/removing the logic board, you happened to bump a component? Maybe one of the pads/traces on the motherboard was about to go?

It may be trying to run a video mode the CC doesn't support. Try booting the board in question with a Disk Tools disk after zapping PRAM.
