I need help.
I just got my hand on 3.5 floppy IIGS disks but I don't have 3.5 floppy drive for the IIGS. Can I use MacOS 8 (Powerbase 180) to create 2mg files to be use on my CFFA 3000? What application do I use? Any documentation on how to do this? I google but all I found is putting 2mg files back into floppy. I try DiskCopy but it create .img file.

Thanks.

If you have a serial cable to connect between your IIgs and PowerBase, I think you can use ADTPro to create a disk image.

Alternatively, you try using DiskCopy 4.2 on your vintage make to make disk images of your IIgs disks, then copy them to a modern Mac where you convert them to 2mg using AppleSauce.

Hi olePigeon.
Thanks for the reply. I'll do more research into both ways. But looks like I might try to use AppleSauce way.
