I have my PowerBook 180c with Ethernet (EN/SC Mini). IRC works and a few other apps work, though Appletalk is giving me problems.
It has worked when I had to transfer the 19 part files to reinstall OS 7.5.3 (Running off of a modified network access disk copied to my hard drive with MacTCP and the EN/SC driver). It also worked a few times after that for some programs I sent over.
Now when I try to change the "Connect via:" option from Printer Port to Alternate Ethernet it gives me an error: An error occurred attempting to use Alternate Ethernet. Make sure your network connections are correct.
I am using Open Transport and I was connecting to my Windows PC running PC MacLan.
EDIT: After going back and forth between OT and Classic, it is working again.
