512 x 384...what monitors can I use for this resolution?

That's about it. Most multi-sync monitors can't handle that resolution without major software hackage. (And I'm not sure such hackage is even possible on the Mac OS.)

My AppleVision 1710AV can handle 512x384.

Bit of a waste though, unless you're setting it up for someone who has really bad vision and needs everything to be big for them.

Actually, it's because I like compact-specific programs to display like the do on Compacts and without the desktop border (and my vision is going...)

if you can find drivers for it i dont see why any kind of monitor cant do it, i can force my ENViSION monitor up to as high as 1900x1080x32@60 and down to as low as 320x280x32@220 useing my ATi Catalyst control panel.
