Could new CPU Upgrades for PowerPC macs come out in the future?

I’m kind of surprised no one has made an Amiga upgrade based on POWER9.

    LVD-SCSI-RAID-Cage 6-in-4-dual-channel

I recall converting a 2940 to a PowerDomain 2940. I did have to replace the ROM Flash chip, which IIRC was a DIP chip so it was fairly simple.

    Ethernet Switch for Compacts

If you want a managed switch for cheap, I'm a fan of the Netgear ProSAFE line. You'll want the ones that start with GS. Here is a 5 Port for $30...

New Disk Emulator - "Tiny SCSI Emulator"

I have friends that have the same attitude about taking your car to the mechanic. I used to work on my own cars and have done everything from oil changes to rebuilding engines. About 3 years ago I decided I was tried of spending my free time working on my car. It is so nice just to drop my car...

    Compact Mac, analog rivets.

Try your local hardware store, not Home Deoot or Lowe's but a real hardware store. If you have a Fastenal near by good chance they have them. They are in the pricey side, but they sell pretty much everything. Heck one time I even bought a truck from them.

New Disk Emulator - "Tiny SCSI Emulator"

I thought the SD2SCSI was open source and one could build it themselves if so inclined.

How to set up a bootable RAM disk on a Quadra with no SCSI devices?

Yes from what I recall the RAM contents are only cleared on a cold boot.

    SCSI Zip drive

Though I have ask, why a ZIP drive. I would think you would be better off putting the money toward a SCSI2SD. Unless you pick one up for $5, then buy that.

    SCSI Zip drive

My guess. Not that many SCSI Zip drives were sold, and most of them have been scrapped by now. So there is a very limited supply.

macintosh se/30 no power and no chime

I always used distilled water when I wash boards. That way I don't have to worry about it leaving mineral deposits behind when it drys.

    Chromebook

Once I upgraded the memory didn't have many problems with that. The 2GB it shipped with was a little thin.

    Chromebook

I Had a C710 Chromebook. It is a good machine. THe cool thing is that it is easily upgradeable. I had put 8GB of RAM in mine, and you can swap out the drive if you want. For $25 you got a great deal.

Maybe you could do a kickstarter or indiegogo, that way you can get the orders up front.

    a decent electric solder sucker

I understand money being tight, lord knows I've been there. However I have learned the hard way that cheaping out on tools is just a bad idea, as you really do get what you pay for. Looking at eBay you can pick up a Hakko 808 for under $200. If you itemize on your taxes you can write it off on...

    Prepping a 512K for use

Hot damn. I reflowed the logic board connector on the analog board and she is alive now. Now the internal floppy drive is not working, need to pull it apart and grease it as the mechanism is all froze up. Though now that I have a Floppy EMU I don't have much need for the floppy, so I can put...

    Prepping a 512K for use

Well I reflowed the yoke connection and flyback. It did not help. I am suspecting it is the flyback, but need to do more testing. All of the caps look good. If it turns out to be the flyback, is that a part that is still available or are they pretty rare now?
