There's one on sale in Switzerland for CHF 150.—.
I was thinking about buying it so that I would have a DA-15 plus on an LCD screen but since I already have a Rev. 2 and the colour doesn't really match anything, the price was not at all compelling. Also LCD screens from that era are starting to suffer in quality.
That and the fact that the seller has stopped replying to my questions.

I was gonna say. the stand engineering is basically a guillotine for the mounts at this point. Unfortunate.
I love the Original 15" Studio Display, especially the color scheme! In some alternate universe we'd have translucent black and dark blue 2nd generation Power Macintosh G3s. ("Black & Blue G3" instead of "Blue & White G3")
In mine the pneumatic cylinder that is supposed let you adjust the height is kaput, same with yours or will it hold its position if you raise it?
It‘s just a metal leaf spring, so you might be able to glue it back (I tried it twice)

I don't have the fancy stand, though, but rather a simple fold out stand that lets the display sit easel-style, not unlike the later Studio displays that came with the G4s. I had always kind of wished I could have the fancy stand, but if it's so fragile and prone to breakage, maybe I'm better off without it?

Funny - I wish I had the fold-out stand! Is it the right color for the Rev A? I've never seen that, even in photos. Anyway, grass is greener, I suppose
From reading online, it sounds like the neck plastic was a particular problem with the Rev A models. The plastic in mine had only partly broken off; the bits holding the spring vertically/parallel to the main line of the stand were there, but the parts that kept it from falling off those horizontally/perpendicular had broken. Since they weren't really weight-bearing, I tried super glue, and it seems to be holding up fine. If I need to do more serious work, I'm planning on following this guide, which uses epoxy to bind the metal spring directly to the neck plastic:
I'm also happy to report that despite officially "requiring" a PowerPC, I've had it working without issue on an LC 475 and a Quadra 700.

I used mine on my then-recently acquired Quadra 840av, and it seemed to work fine. I didn't know at the time that it "required" a Power Mac, so I wasn't surprised at all when it worked.

The driver software bundled with it requires a PPC Mac. I have minor issues with it and the internal graphics card of my Quadra 700 (green tint, not able to set a resolution other than 640x480) but these could be resolved with the right system extensions.. Sometimes, the earlier AppleVision software complains about incompatibility on startup. Actually, the rev2 works better with 68k Macs!
I just had success with the 8-24_GC_Software on a Macintosh II. My Video card is probably not a 8-24, but the driver apparently still works!

Just saw this thread. Yours is in far better condition than mine, although we have "matching" stuck pixels.

I would love one of these! Unfortunately I have only seen a very slim handful for sale here in the UK, all in bad condition and at very high prices. The dream scenario would be to get rid of my B&W Studio CRT and replace it with a B&W Studio TFT.
Side note: the reintroduction of the Studio Display moniker has made it quite a lot harder to keep an eye out for these things.
