  1. I've been trying to setup Retro68 for quite a while on my Macbook. Initially, I was unable to compile the project, but after trying it enough times, I at least got far enough in the compilation process to have a working 68K toolchain. It was mentioned in some other posts, as well as in this blog post, that it is possible to setup Retro68 to work with the Codelite IDE. 2. Hey everyone, I've been on a search for a few days now for a particular developer tool that was once available for download from ftp.apple.com It's called ToolFrontEnd, It was a plugin that allowed developers to run MPW commands from codewarrior as part of their automated build scripts. Why do I need it? I'm trying to build the first release of Mozilla when it was first made open source in 1998. I've found an archive of the website for ToolFrontEnd on archive.org here: http://web.archive.org/web/19990909113056/http://developer.apple.com:80/dev/techsupport/develop/issue25/mpw.html
  3. I'm an experience programmer on modern hardware, and I thought I would try my hand at creating some classic mac os software. I purchased volumes 1-6 of Inside Macintosh on Amazon and I've been familiarizing myself with the basic ideas. Heres my current goal. I've got a few macs that will run without a clock battery, and I would like to leave them without a battery. I store my macs for long periods of time and I dont want to install a battery just to take it back out again when I put the mac away. SOOO, I want to create an extension that sets the time if the current time is before 2016.
