I'd need some help here with a Macintosh Color (ColoUr) Classic I bought a couple weeks ago. It was listed as not working, but when I got here a quick inspection at the logic board revealed a bad placed ROM chip, which had two pins out of the socket. Once placed properly it booted up, although without sound and a partially working screen, with artifacts and lines. I dishwashed both the analog and the logic board and that brung the sound back, but the screen was still affected. So I did a full recap of both boards and now it won't turn on. Hi folks, I finally managed to make my SCSI2SD work and I've started putting stuff onto the SD card. I'd like to set up ethernet on my Mac CC since I have a Farallon Ethernet card lying around. This brings me to my two questions stated in the title, for the first one, I was thinking maybe Netscape 4 would be sufficient. For the second, I need your help because from what I know Mac OS 7 wasn't the most ready operating system for TCP/IP networking.
Hi folks... I saw this interesting mod to a 1984 Mac. The CRT was swapped out for a LCD. The Mac now supports USB and some other cool features. It is running Snow Leopard. What I like best about it, is that it is a non destructive mod.
