  1. If you don't have the adapter, what were you plugging your custom controller into???
  2. What kind of custom controller is it? Just having the Atari plug doesn't mean Atari compatible. Systems like the Genesis and the Vertex have the same plug, but are electrically different. Easiest solution is to get an Atari 2600 joystick and try it out.
  3. I’ve been trying, unsuccessfully until now, to connect optical media to the iPhone over USB. Well, I’ve finally cracked it. Instead of the usual bit with me adding some data to a disk and showing it working with the iPhone, I’ll take a look at three decades worth of retail optical media including PC CD-ROM, Mac CD-ROM, MP3 CD, Red Book Audio CD, Enhanced CD, Playstation CD, DVD movies, and more! This is for fun, not overly practical. More of a technical demo of what works and what doesn't. The Playstation CD is perhaps my favorite demo. https://youtu.be/
  4. So I wanted to see if I could get a Hardware RAID connected to the iPhone. I used a RAID 1 in this video. Enjoy!
  5. Flash media is boring! This is my first time attempting to use magnetic media with the iPod Camera Connector.
  6. It's totally powered by the iPod Photo.
  7. Everyone always complains about having to use Apple's dongles and adapters. I decided to make the most convoluted one I could, and see if the iPod Photo could actually use it.
  8. That's stinks. Does it work with the Jaz Drive?
  9. This was a blast to make! I hope everyone enjoys this!
  10. I don't know. I've heard the USB 2.0 SCSI adapters need drivers. I know the one like mine that use the "Shuttle Technology" chipset are USB 1.1 and don't need drivers. You can buy them here. https://www.yoycart.com/Product/561501395767/
  11. I was curious if my AlphaSmart 3000 would work with an iPhone. I wanted to see not only if the core word processing features would work, but also if I could use the AlphaSmart's "send file" feature as a macro for controlling the iPhone. I put together a little video showing off these experiments. I think some AlphaSmart owners will find this useful. Enjoy! youtu.be/d_fn_wKNFNo
