    • Ups new in this forum ... can someone tell me the capacity etc. values for this RIFA guy ?  It's from a Mac II Astec PSU and I want to replace it ... I couldn't find any PSU schematics or infos up to know.
    • That's how mine are currently as well, for both the fan and upgrade, but for $25 and some wire, an additional PSU seems to make good sense. I haven't booted with the drivers yet to see what the actual comparative draw is, but I have read elsewhere that you normally have to boost the voltage pot, and that some boards can be cranked higher than others making them better candidates for upgrades, so an additional PSU is probably prudent for longevity.
    • I think I understand what you are telling me.   It just makes me curious why the IIsi's, having identical set-ups, are chugging along like champs.  I am only having issues with the IIci.  If I understand correctly, a IIsi is pretty much a scaled down IIci.  If there is more to it, I would love to know the hows and whys.
    • Ahhh ok. yea then I need to look at the other one then.    I like where its going the STM32 is a neat IC and I have thought about using it in other projects.    And no, I dont know C++ at all. I only familiarized myself with C last year. C/C++ are not exactly the same. there are some similarities though.   Edit: looking at V2, and yea its very different. Much more streamlined.
