Sometime I want to take all the links from Trash80's posts and archive them in a database so even if the original pages go down people can still see them.

My huge database project is still running, just slow.

Archiving the Internet is great idea. I've noticed an ongoing degradation of Mac sites --links to Mac stuff that have gone dead over the years. Places like Jag's house and LEM are full of dead links. I'd bet that even jt's Links Project has dead links in it.

My rule: If a page is informative and is worth visiting again in the future, then archive it.
