Hi ... well some of you might know who i am from the Applefritter forums ...

if not ... well im Tom Levens ... and im a mac addict ... i currently have 3 macs ... 2 working ... 1 nearly working ... see my P630 thread (topic.asp.TOPIC_ID=4188.html) ... 1 of those is a iMac (which crashes the whole time ... keeps braking down ... and is seriously buggy) ... an the other is a LCIII (which runs beautifully ... never crashes and i have never had any problems with it) ...

so im here and i like it ... great site ... long live the 68k

BTW, I like your site ( www.tomlevens.co.uk ), especially the high placement of a certain site in your "Computer: Info/Resources" links. I hope that you find an LC 475 for your BBC Macro hack.

see now... I used a rev c or d tangerine... the 266 one (that'd be a C also) with 8.5 on it... and it was horrible... this was at computer camp... I started callingit the lemon

it was fine in a world of PCs though... where I was the smartest one... I already knew basic

my "programs" also looked different than everyone else's... often they worled les efficiently... but hey... it's fun

Welcome aboard, Private!

IMHO, FlatPackMacs are the most stable little servers, if you know the care and feeding of them. I used a headless LCII for a server for my ClassicII (When I thought that the classic II was better, my ignorant days)

anyway, welcome aboard, though I think that you will have trouble topping JT when it comes to creating havoc here at the MLA

Bah. Old is meaningless - the gates in my Mac Plus still toggle, old can't be all bad! Besides, AF forums came after the site became popular, not the other way 'round. Nice to have a new member, any where they arrive from.
