I can't find the original thread with our natterings about quick eats, but I just have to share this 'un withyas :D. I've recently re-started weightwatchers, cos I'm a lil porker, and one of the things I loved last time I was on it, was a pita-bread pizza. It's basically a pita bread/tortilla with browned ground beef, ham, tomato paste, onions mushrooms cheese and capsicum... I started making it, and being a chilli lover (drool) had chilli mince all ready, started putting it all together, and realised I'd forgotten both mushrooms and cheese when shopping. ack! crap! I can't eat pizza without mushies or cheese... so I threw on the tomato and onions with the meat/pizza base, popped on lettuce, rolled it up and ate it how it was. yummo! It's a kinda tortilla/pizza/kebab/taco thing all in one. takes about 5 minutes too, when you don't have to chop the mushrooms! dana (with a happy belly) Quadra 605 Obsessions

I'm sure it's a down under-up over translation difficulty, but what the heck is capsicum No rank Permanent 68k roommates: Q605 w/full '040, 36/1.2G/enet/7.6.1/Debian Woody SE/30 w/IIsi ROM, 20/500/enet/A/UX |

I belive that they're called peppers in the US. Anyway, I once had a plate of very nice nachos, with chilli con carne instead of salsa. Very nice, except for the sour cream which was the cheap catering crap kind. ~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit Mayor of NuBus City v3.0

capcacium is the chemical that makes chilies hot. If you were to remove all of the capcacium from chilies, they would cease to be hot. Capcacium is also a major ingredient in some of the arthritis creams that one can get over the counter. just don't get it near your eyes, kind of the old rule of not squirting Habinero chilies in your eyes CCCLieutennant Commander (Pronounced Leftennant) 68k Macs Rescued: 2 Pluses, a 512KE, a Classic II, a Quadra 650, and a Quadra 660AV Contraband rescued: Power Computing PowerBase 200, and a PM 8600/300 Apple //s rescued: Apple //e |
