Not the kind from a store, do it yourself, I'm-gettng-a-headache-maybe-I-shluld-eat-something-right-now kinda fare!

Ny new lunchtime favorite: Heavenly Hot Dogs

Generic White Bread HDB's
Generic HD's (miscellaneous meat or near meat substitutes, whatever)
Generic Cheese - Store Brand Monterey Jack in this case.
Generic Condiment - In this case, Gulden's Zesty Honey Mustard, YUM!

Split HD's down the middle, insert slices of cheese.
Nuke until cheese is bubbly melted.
Add condiment of choice.
Ingest while prepping the next tasty morsel.

Best done with limited quantities of ingredients available,
I think I'll avoid chloesterol testing for a bit!

Kady Mae's White Trash Trailer Park Crepes:

1 Flour Tortilla
Butter or margarine
1 big teaspoon jam/jelly of choice
Hershey's Chocolate syrup

Thinly butter the tortilla. Use the spoon to put a big fat stripe of jam down the middle, at least 1 inch from the edges. Squirt chocolate syrup over the jam.

Roll up

Nuke for 30 seconds.

nummy.

Interesting! What kind of jelly is good with chocolate? . . . err . . . never mind, being a woman, yer gonna ask what kind DOESN'T!

I like peanut butter and honey rolled in a flour tortilla, I'll bet it'd be good nuked with some sliced banana in it.

(adding bacon to the basic Honey-PB-Banana-Sammich is what probably killed the King!)

One of my favorites is the El Cine Tomato Sandwich.

I take a single slice of nice, hearty wheat bread (the kind with oats and crap...none of that soggy, bleached stuff in my house) and apply a thick layer of cream cheese. Then, I place a thick tomato slice in the center of the cream cheese and slap it on a hot plate/griddle until toasted. Before eating, I top with fine ground black pepper and tobasco sauce (regular, green, or habanero if I'm feeling randy ).

My other favorite is the El Cine Wrap.

I take a flour or wheat tortilla (depending on what I've got) and apply a layer of cream cheese (seeing a pattern here? yeah, I like cream cheese). On top of the cream cheese, I put a layer of fresh spinach leaves (stems removed) and then a layer of deli-style turkey. A dash of black pepper and cayenne, then I roll the business into a tube and cut it into sushi-like sections.

LMAO, I normally don't think in terms of groupings, but this reminded me of what my wife took out for herself once. It must have been about 6 years ago, but I still can't figure the taste she was after. I was walking in the kitchen and I saw this plate out with tunafish and a red-substance I at first look thought was blood. Not even thinking I yelled out, "OMG!! You're eating this raw?!?!?". (those following this already must notice I had forgotten there tunafish always came raw and yes, without blood) She started laughing and said, "No, that's Red Vinegar Salad Dressing." I think that grossed me out more.

Yummo! there's nothing salad dressing doesn't go well on - except sweet stuff and coffee. And there's always exceptions.

My fav atm is seaweed stirfry - loads of udon noodles, a few fave vegies and some presoaked strips of seaweed - stirfry it quick-as with mushroom soy and chilli :D.

double yummo!

Sounds good! I bought a new wok a few months ago and have been making stor fry at least twice a week since. I make a sort of East-meets-Southwest style stir-fry...lots of peppers...

Any kind of fruit served with chocolate tastes good.

I've tried and liked: raspberry, strawberry, cherry, apricot and orange marmalade.

I guess you could do grape, but I wouldn't ... I would be leery of apples, too.

Or you could eliminate the whole mess altogether and go to KFC, my personal favourite.

KFC ALMOST qualifies as a store/restaurant, but it's still disqualified for the I-NEED-Food-RTF-Now! recipe exchange.

Tweaker Pudding.

(Guaranteed hyper awakeness for least 24 hours.)

3/4 small jar Taster's Choice instant coffee.
One small can sweetened condensed milk.

Mix until coffee crystals are disolved.

(Guaranteed crash and burn after 36 hours.)

---

Nukem Nachos.

Corn Tortilla chips
Medium spiced Picante salsa
Shredded cheddar.

In a cereal bowl make a few layers of above ingredients.

Nuke for 90 seconds or 2 mins.

(I ate a lot of this during the hottest part of the summer. I didn't want anything heavier.)

A bowl of Skittles in Coca-Cola for brekky has the same kinda effect... but doesn't last quite as long :D.

Actually, Skittles is no longer the king...
That's right, just 100g of glacé cherries has the same nutritional balance as a kilo of Skittles, and makes you feel as sick!

Dana, just for you:

"Dr. Coffee." (Got this from a Comp Sci major friend of mine.)

Brew your coffee with diet Dr. Pepper instead of water.

(You *can* use regualar DP, but remember to flush out the system with water so it's not sticky.)

*imagines Kady and Dana on crazy caffeine highs, collapsed on the floor, twitching... laughs hysterically*

OK, those were just too good, Kady... I've got to share those!

Though, I just had another evil thought: make coffee with Jolt? How well does that work?

(And BTW, my liberation count is way outdated in my sig, but I don't have time to fix that now... off to dinner with my new girl! And no, thank God, none of these recipes is on the menu! )

Somewhere I have the official McDonalds and other franchise recipes. I will dig them up and post them here.

My friend has a nice big FTP server with lots of goodies. :)
