wireless USB 802.11n driver for Mac OS X

It probably contains Ralink chipset. You might try to find something like "rtusb_d2870-4.1.8.0.dmg". You should post its USB IDs, which can be found in System Profiler (Product ID, Vendor ID, Version).

I have seen those for quite some time on ebay for the Raspberry Pi. Apparently, the OSes that are on the R-Pi is Plug & Play with these USB Wifi Adapters. I have 4 of them for the several the R-Pis I have and they load right up.

Question is, are they Plug & Play on OSX?

They are not plug-and-play on OS X, which is why slomacuser is asking about drivers.

Like butterburger suggested, post the USB IDs and we'll find the drivers.

How did you obtain this information? Did you used the Ralink driver or this is without the driver? It is interesting that it look like it is about to work but to me looks like it is turned off.

I use the EnGenius USB Wifi adapter (EUB9603H) to connect to the "free community wifi" in my area, and it has an option to turn of and off the radio but even off, it is still detectable on the machine. It's connected to a G4 Powerbook.

BTW - JohnKlos, in owning those little USB Network adapters, putting them in to this powerbook with the EnGenius Adapter, it is almost want to work but something is missing.
