I've been looking for a USB2 PC Card that would work with my Lombard for a long time. I finally found one at a local computer store with an NEC chipset for $16. They also had a box of 7-port USB2 hubs for $8 each. I bought one of those also.
After connecting the wall wart to the hub and plugging it in, I discovered that there is a bright LED behind each USB port. There is a 4-color one in the middle of the hub as well that cycles through several color changes. There's no switch to turn off the LEDs. Pictures don't do it justice. [

I thought I had a working USB2/Firewire PC Card based off of an Ali chipset, but it wouldn't recognize anything plugged into the card so I had to return it.
