The processor card for a 170 works in a 145b, in case anyone's curious

I couldn't find anything about it online, and I honestly didn't think it was going to work, since I'd read about color and b/w variants of the same laptop not being able to interchange processor cards, so I figured active and passive matrix display variants might not be able to either. The donor machine even came with a third-party upgrade to 8MB (by Kelly Micro Systems).
 
The 140, 145, 145B, and 170 all use the same motherboard, so the CPU cards from all of them are cross compatible. Same goes for the 160, 165, and the 180. I think the 165c and 180c cards are different from the regular 160 and 180.
 
Yep, did the same thing with my 145B. Now it is recognized as a 170. But it has a bit more umph now, which is really nice.

Here is a quick doc I threw together from the Apple parts list, showing the interchangeable daughterboards for this series.
