Well, I was at a rummage sale this morning and next to the old DVD players and broken-down printer, I found a cute little thing that unfolds into a keyboard, never saw anything like it before. So, not knowing what it was, knowing I probably would never be able to use it, I bought it for a quarter. Turns out it's a Targus Stowaway portable keyboard Model PA810U for a Handspring Visor Edge PDA. Evidently the Visor Edge was quite the technology back in the day, and Mac-compatible for 8.1 and up.

Now if I ever find one of those for $1.00 at another rummage sale, I'm all set!

Sounds intriguing, always wanted to have a PDA (although I don't really need one!). :lol: This keyboard apparently is intended to work with the Visor Edge.

The visor's a great little palm. My dad has owned several PDAs(Apple Newtown, Palm III, Visor, Sony Clie, Zire 21, Palm Treo 650 or 700 or something cell phone), and out of all of those, the Visor was his favorite. He gave it to me a while ago and I used to use it in school a lot to write down what my homework is, and play games. Good luck.

I'll get on it later today and get back with you. One of them has the box, manuals, cd and all and the other one is just the unit itself. 1 of them runs of of 4 AA's and the other uses it's own internal battery.

I'd recommend swapping cases between the 2 as 1 of them has some cracks due to age.
