Some small items, not big deal but was looking for SCSI Terminators anyway... the rest was some sort of a bonus (4 € the lot including the HD)

Sweet deal. I always thought those Sonnet products were cool, and am surprised they are still in business. Can you swap that HDD out if it is bad?

Sure, the board wasn't supplied with one when new, the HDD can be easily removed (4 screws are holding it to the board)... seems like that board can also be used for pre-G3 units (and MAC OS 8 and 9) so adding ATA utility to a SCSI only Logic Board.

Unfortunately not, the black terminator is a Toshiba unit :-/

By the way, the Sonnet Tempo HD and HDD is working fine in a Powermac G4 :) (below the main HDD DD40 )

Drat! I got mine in a grab bag of cables-n-stuff like that and didn't even notice what I'd nabbed until about a month later. I've never needed to use it because my fx is a late enough rev. that the problem was fixed. Now it's MIA, hopefully somewhere in the goodie boxen.

You wouldn't have a TAM for testing performance boostage with that very 8-) card would you?

Sonnet has been mainstream high end for a lot of years now, they're likely more profitable than ever.

No i am not lucky enough, moreover only 600 TAM were delivered new to France...never seen one for real :(

6360/6400/5400/5500/6500 would do too! I should test my Tempo Trios against that crappy early Mac IDE, now that I think about it!

TAM came to mind due to the cramped confines, I should probably hack an IDE cable into my 6360/6500 hybrid bench unit. }:)
