Skye Green's Conquests

I've acquired enough vintage Mac's at this point that I think I should create a conquests page for myself rather than creating one for each Mac I acquire.

Recently I purchased a 14.1" PowerBook G3 Wallstreet on eBay for 25+shipping. It's in okay condition, the inside looks better than the outside in my opinion. The only problem is that the seller never included a hard drive cage, so for now I'm stuck using an OS9 install CD to see if everything is working. I also got a few PC cards, so that's a good thing! The whole device acts pretty strangely from what I can tell. The PRAM battery is probably close to dead.

Oh yes, the PRAM battery might be shot. My one (HDD included) has a funny problem when it's shut off, where the whole thing spins up when plugged in, the screen flashes when the power button is hit, and the whole thing stops unless the battery is removed. That's why I have it in sleep mode for a period of time.

That's what they do when the PRAM battery dies.
