I couldn't help wonder if the lid&bottom were interchangeable between all LC models in question, like lets say LC II lid and LC475 bottom?

I think so... from the service manual it looks like there was one bottom case for all the models other than the original LC and the Q605. I know the original LC has the model name embossed in the plastic on the bottom, so its possible that's the only difference there.

Never tried myself, but probably not at a 100% rate.

Probably will work, but the main difference will be the floppy drive, from the original auto insert to the newer manual insert, lid is not the same.
