Sheepshaver Fullscreen 1680x1050 lines

Has anyone gotten Sheepshaver to go into 1680x1050 on their Intel Mac? I put it in the gui settings, and boot up into OS 9, but I get a bunch of purple and cyan lines throughout my gfx. I would love to be able to pretend that I have an actual os 9 machine hooked up to my monitor with the advantage of being able to use wide screen. I just don't have the space for a classic machine anymore.

Your signature would imply you have three possible Classic machines. One of them being a small laptop you could surely make room for.

It has been a good long while. I need to update that. They are all currently out of order .

Sheepshaver is unreliable - you can get G4s cheap, and they run OS 9 very well.

You miss the point. My goal is imperfect emulation on a singular computer. I do not have the space for a second machine.

Well, good luck with it. Both Sheepshaver and Basilisk II are buggy/unfinished pieces of software.

@macintoshme: No. I tried several times, without any luck. Basically, I have never ever been able to run Basilisk II/SheepShaver in full screen on any resolution.

How far can you get before it gets all messed up?

Maybe sheepshaver itself can't manage high resolutions...

I can get up to 1280x1024. That works fine, but looks weird on my screen, since it is stretched out. No other widescreen resolutions show up in the resolution list. Does os 9 support widescreen?

It's nothing to do with OS 9. OS 9 supports widescreen resolutions, much larger than 1680x1050 too.

This sounds like Qemu. It has a size limit but will do full screen.
