SE SE/30 inscription font

I don't have my SE and a ruler handy, but you can figure it out for yourself.

Measure the height of a capital letter (the "M", "S", or "E".) The average capital letter is considered to be 70% the height of the font's "em", where the "em" is the size in points that the font is being measured. So multiply your capital letter's height by 1.42857 (10/7) to get the "em" height of the font.

Then take that height, convert to decimal inches and times by 72, since there are 72 points per inch.

If you are measuring in millimeters, then you can just multiply by 4.04949. (Multiply by 10/7 for the inverse of 70%, divide by 25.4 to convert mm to inches, multiply by 72 to get points: total math 4.04949.)
