SE/30 strange behaviors

Hi,

I have a SE/30 with shows strange behaviors. Here the list of them:

First, and it always did that when I received it, when open the monitor is displaying horizontal lines for a while, then the staring chime happen (after a few minutes) and it can boot.

Recently, I saw it doing that again, then, when booted, I wanted to go on the HD and it started to be very slow. After that, it never booted up correctly.

Can it be the logic board doing such problems?

You are probably experiencing capacitor issues. But there are other causes too. Check here for a good troubleshooting and repair for the SE/30.

The line phenomenon started happening to my cousin's SE/30 as well. This gives me an excuse to go to Florida sometime (to fix the issues!)
