Scored a nice PDQ

Actually this one's been sitting on the shelf at work for at least 5 years, probably more like 10 or more. I snagged it before it got thrown away!

Anyway, nothing terribly special, just a Wallstreet II. 300MHz, 384MB RAM, 8GB hard drive. Got the CD, DVD, floppy, and one sorta working battery.

I probably wouldn't even count it as a conquest but it is seriously just about as close to brand new condition as it gets. One small etched in ID tag on the bottom and a couple very small scratches is all. The trackpad even shows ZERO wear 8-o

Dunno what I'm gonna do with it, it's awful nice. Hate to just let it sit.

My job never really used them except to demo a specific piece of software one or two times a year. I've got an Intel mini right now, and we also had a 5260/75 that I also scored a while back, but didn't keep.

Nice machines, great for bridging between old and new Mac networks & peripherals. Localtalk/Appletalk, 8 pin serial, ADB, ethernet, SCSI, IDE/CF, OS X, OS 9, Linux, Debian, BSD, - and with Cardbus cards, WiFi, USB, Firewire.
