RetroBBS now available (again)

Following the protracted switch between service providers the RetroBBS is now back online, hopefully without any significant interruption from now on.

Is it still the same address (bbs.retrochallenge.net)? i'm trying with the telnet client in Ubuntu and so far it won't connect.

I know it wasn't announced here, but the alternate telnet address is appsoftint.co.uk

It was the original address for the new RetroBBS, so try that out.

Sorry guys,

I was wondering why there wasn't any BBS activity, and then 'duh' it finally clicked.

The static IP address has changed, so we need to get the domain name updated. I'll talk to Simon about that. In the meantime, I've reset appsoftint.co.uk to the new IP address which is 62.49.25.56.

Note that the change in IP address for the DNS name appsoftint.co.uk will take a bit to propogate.

Definitely works with the IP address under Ubuntu 9.04.
