Radius 15RAM3 FPD info?

Hi all,

I've recently come into possession of a Radius "15RAM3" FPD. from what I've been able to learn so far, it's 69hz 864x640. I've got a Radius 8/1600 PCI card (I think V2, because it doesn't have additional RAM slots?), and have it ready to install in a PM9600.

My question is: Will this mid 90's PCI card drive the earliest Radius FPD's using the stock drivers? From what I can find, I think the "RadiusWarePCI1.1-3.3" drivers will work with this card, but will it drive the FPD?

Oh.. it looks like that's the display that would go with the Full Page cards for the SE and SE/30 (and I imagine other Macs from around that time too). Is there any markings on the display to indicate when it was manufactured as I suspect it's probably from the late 80s rather than your PCI card that'll be Mid-90s.

The cards this was designed for are the DE9 connector ones for the SE, SE/30 and nubus. I don't think I've heard of them working on anything else?

Thanks - that makes sense. The Se/SE30 card works with the 69hz FPD's, but the Mac Plus card won't drive anything newer than the 67Hz version, correct? Does the SE card only support 69Hz, or is it backwards compatible with the 67Hz screen?

Hi, I have two Radius FPDs and the rear connector is Db9. The first display is connected to a Macintosh Plus (inside the Radius card), the software is installed in the ROM. The second display is connected to a Macintosh SE, again with the Db9 cable. Here is the internal hard disk with the Radius FPD SE software.

I also still have a Macintosh IIci with the radius FPD card inside, still with a Db9 connector
