Quadra 900/950 4-pin-(square)-to-4-pin-Molex power cable

Hi all,

I'm looking for a couple of the internal power cables for the Quadra 900/950. They have a square 4-pin-plug connected by a 40cm long cable to a Molex plug.

Does anybody have either a link to where one may buy them (aliexpress, for example) or indeed have any for sale? I'm willing to pay USD20 per cable.

 Ta,

Both ends on those cables are standard Molex connectors. I would invest those $20 into crimping pliers and make your own cables.

Molex housings and terminals are easily available.

Additional information here:

You may want to just pull the part number from the DigiKey link and use it to find the part at your favorite European supplier.

Hi trag,

I think that Bolle is right and I'm slowly coming around to the idea that I will have to learn how to make cables, how to use a multimeter and so on.

I've successfully avoided it now for the better part of 40 years.

Thanks for the link to DigiKey. I have the site open now. The box, btw, in your post is empty.

Ta,

For my 950's I just use 4 pin Molex power supply extensions common for PCs. You can buy simple y splitters or even 1 to 6 plugs on ebay (assuming you have only 1 Apple plug and need more). I don't think each of the 4 plugs on the 950 PS is a different rail to make much of a difference using a splitter.

This is what I'll do until I get around to making my own cable. I have spare splitters and I only need one more plug for the MO-drive.
