PowerBook 3400c Keyboard woes

So I just picked up a PB 3400c while out on the road (truck driver lol, makes conquests a bit easier). It boots and all, but I've only got half the keyboard working. Now, I did remove the pram battery, it hadn't exploded,  but when I removed the screw for the speaker, it looked a bit rusted. However the computer and memory expansion runs just fine...just no keyboard. I have no ADB keyboard or mouse to test. Any suggestions?

Used to be an infamous issue like this If i remember correctly for the 3400c.. Is the Keyboard ribbon cable at all dirty or damaged? I would get a cotton swab with some high concentrate Isopropyl alcohol and rub off the contacts. Probably want to make sure they are in correctly/fully as well.

Ok so I just got a good look at the contacts on the keyboard, there is almost nothing left of the metal connections. Does anybody have a spare 3400c keyboard?
