PowerBook 1400 AC adapter on a Wallstreet G3?

Hi all!

Got a pretty straightforward question: will the AC brick from my PowerBook 1400 work with a "Wallstreet"-style PowerBook G3? The barrel plug looks to be the right size and shape, but the brick itself lacks any info about power output (it's just a blank space where that sticker should be), so I don't wanna just try it and fly the Wallstreet.

Yes it will work. Any Apple-supplied adapter with that plug style will work on any Apple computer with that plug. Here's a list:

PowerBook Duo (any)
PowerBook 1400
PowerBook 2400
PowerBook 3400
PowerBook G3 (any)
iBook G3 "Clamshell"

Any of the Apple-shipping chargers for any of those laptops will work on any of those laptops.

Later laptops starting with the PowerBook G4 Titanium and the Snow iBooks used a smaller jack.

Edit: To further back this up, here’s my 3400 AC adapter next to a Yo-yo style adapter. The 3400 adapter’s label is slightly different from my 1400 adapter’s label but they are both model M4896 and output the same as well.

well my M7332 Adapter doesn't fit to the 1400..

Later ones use a smaller tip, I guess they didn’t change the model number of the yo-yo to match.

Yes, it is the same as the G4 PWs ones with the smaller outer 7,7 mm tip ring..I didn't realize that there were Jojo's that late.
I'll have to look for a fitting one..

There are two models. One with the G3 end and one with the smaller G4 end.
