Power supply for PowerBook Duo

Hi,
My power supply from powerbook Duo 2300c smoked yesterday.
Can I use power supply from other powerbook/ibook?
Also the psu is it fixable?

You can use any PSU from the other Duo machines, PB 1400, pb 3400, Kanga, G3 Wallstreet, Lombard, or Pismo. They are all compatible.

PSU smoked because a RIFA filter cap blew and the supply itself almost certainly still works. By all means get it open and replace it, you're supposed to have a filter cap installed, but it will still work without one.
