Power Macintosh AGP (Sawtooth)

I got a PowerMac G4 AGP (Sawtooth) from MacDan (Thanks!) during a trade. I just decked it out now (Mostly) except for the ram, everything I had was a drop in

This was the specs when I got it:

PowerMac G4 AGP 400Mhz Solo CPU

Rage 128Pro AGP 2x

96MB RAM

SCSI Card (not sure what kind)

DVD-ROM/Zip

What is NOW:

Power mac G4 AGP *DUAL 450Mhz!!!

576MB PC-133 (1x 256, 2x 128, 1x 64MB)

GeForce 4 MX AGP 4x Video card

200GB SATA Hard drive (7200RPM w/ 16MB Cache)

PCI Sonnet SATA Card (2 port)

DVD-ROM/Zip

USB 2.0 PCI Card (4-port)

Gigabit Ethernet card

added other:

Apple Pro Keyboard

Logitech USB Wireless Mouse

17" LCD CORNEA Display VGA

And I tried putting 10.5 on it with a hacked CD, but it won't see the drives :(

I guess 10.4 will go on it :S

crap... well that's not good...

I had a pentium III PC next to the tower, and when the G4's side was folded down, the pentium III tipped over and landed on the last ram slot and decimated it. So now I am down to 3 ram slots. The fourth was just mangled with broken plastic. Although the rest of the machine is ok, i will be using only 3 from now on. that means i am stuck to 1.5GB max RAM :S

I'm glad the damage wasn't any worse than that - it could have landed on the CPU heatsink

It's really not too much of a big deal, i just thought it would be cool to max out the ram at 2GB.

I got a problem though, I have no ram to max it out with :p

Anyone want to trade a 512MB PC-100/133 RAM for 2x 256 Low-Density ECC PC-100 RAM?

I got two of them and didn't realize they were ECC when I bought them. Should have paid attention :-/
