Power amc g4 10.2.6 to 10.2.8

i keep trying to update my power mac g4 from 10.2.6 to 10.2.8, I got the upgrade file from apple, put it on a flash drive, put it in the g4 and I run it, itn ask for the admin password, I put it in, Then the installer quits, and there's a message that says "this application has unexpectedly quit". How do I fix this??

Download the combo updater and try again off your HD, not USB

I just tried that and it still did the same thing

That is the one i tried.

Try 1 stick of RAM that is know as good.
