this is why I decided not to tinker with the one I had. needed a keyboard and mouse to be functional than I looked up to see what that would cost... 8-o yeah, that's out side the 'want to tinker with' price range and even than I still needed software, SCSI drive, my screen was 'iffy', etc.

I didn't get it. The seller had a MUCH larger offer than the $20 he was asking, and he sold it to them.

As easy as OS X Server 1.0, anyway.

You can get an external box with a Mac ROM on it that allows you to boot System 7 natively.

What does the rear SCSI port look like? DB25 or HD50?

The NeXTStation is HD50. I think the Cube is the same.
