Portable 140 Battery Rebuild?

I recall the batteries being rebuilt (looked like a hard process). I do know some companies still sell new aftermarket ones. The PowerBook 140 will always start without battery, the trouble is sometimes it won't start with a dead batter installed.
Ok. No idea on the current state of the one in it now, hopefully the thing even works!
Yeah it seems like a hard process to rebuild them, but it has to be done. There was one member who 3d printed one, I'll see if they can make me one.
