PM 6400/6500 Subwoofer volume knob replacement

I just picked up a Power Macintosh 6500/250 in pretty good shape but missing its back panel subwoofer volume knob. Anyone know if there is a 3D printed part for this out there?

Mine is broken off in a way that makes fitting a new one not just a case of pushing it on.

Ahh... well... what I did when this happened to mine was to find a tiny drill bit (I have a dremel and appropriate collet - but you can also use a hand drill) and carefully drill a hole in the center of the remains of the knob. Then use a toothpick with some super glue and poke that in the hole. Wait for it to set, then pull the knob remainder out.

Heh :)

I poked it with a pin to the level I wanted and then ignored it :)

If memory serves, and you feel like spending the time to remove the little board from the case, you can also poke the broken piece through from the back. Could even glue the stub back onto the knob if it's still nearby.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like I need to open it up to see what bit is left in there and what kind of make shift knob I can get to engage the dial. I'm thinking whittled down chopstick... :)
