Browsing through a 1987 rev. Mac Plus user's manual, I find the following on page 177 in the section on peripherals for your Plus.

Things to note:
1) It's an '87 manual from after the switch to platinum Pluses. Everything in the picture is clearly platinum.
2) The text mentions the "Apple Hard Disk 20SC" by name. There is no mention whatsoever of the HD20 anywhere in the section.
3) The hard drive pictured is the HD20 case. No Snow White anywhere to be found.
At the very least, it seems to me, we have a platinum HD20 serving as a photo prop. But why would they use an HD20 picture when they're clearly pushing the 20SC.
Could this mean that the 20SC was originally available in the same case as the HD20?
Would they have made a beige version? A 20SC in a beige HD20 case! That would be flippin' sweet!
