Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
looks like its all there, could pull the network card and ram and see if it turns on. it has ram onboard. if it still does not turn on the psu could be the issue. last but not least the capacitors may be in need of replacement.
Yep yep, give it a good wash and pull those components. If you still don't have any luck, I can walk you through testing the PSU. Also, give the PSU a good sniff, does it smell like anything?
No it does not smell.I washed the board but again nothing.I have power from PSU but no led no chime and no pic. After 1 minute machine shutdown by itself.
There goes my suggestion (most probably) but give it a try anyway: re-seat the ribbon cable from that friggin' medusa mess to the video-out card and make sure the speaker wire's connector is actually in place. Unplugging and re-seating connections is a good thing while troubleshooting. Apparently they need exercise every few years and scraping off the barnacles by doing so doesn't hurt a bit!
