PC Compatibility Card?

I was paging through Mactracker, and stumbled on the Performa 6400 page, where it lists that an optional PC Compatibility Card. How popular was this card? I've never seen or heard of it in any systems before. What does it look like? Does it go in one of the PCI slots on the motherboard?

Is it the Apple Pentium 166 card? I have a couple of those (one in a 7500) and it works well enough.
