Over the weekend conquests

Friday night got three 1400 series Powerbooks. As of yet not working. A 1400c/166, 1400cs/166 and a 1400cs/133.

On Saturday, got a PB 540c working with dead battery and out of a PM 7200/100 a PCIPC card. The card fits into a PCI slot and allows you to use 16 bit PCMCIA or PC cards.

I paid $10.00 for the 1400c/166. It is maxed out with ram. It was supposed to work.

The c screens are lovely, and 1400s are not too painful to work on. Good haulage, even if you're having trouble getting it to work right now. As per other suggestions here, it might be worth leaving it on the PS for a day or two to get the PRAM battery back to life.
