I have a number of late production, high end Nubus 24-bit video cards for large displays (e.g., Radius LeMans, an eMachines Futura, a RasterOps with onboard 30-pin RAM slots for G-Worlds and RAM disk, and a few more goodies of the same vintage). Can these generally be used in System 6? I think most or all of them date probably from the System 7 era, but I am interested in souping up a IIci for System 6. I have plenty of later machines for System 7.
I have almost no experience of System 6, but a separate thread gives me the idea to maybe explore it a little more. Hence this post.
Do the cards, Extensions and/ or Control Panels that work in System 7 also tend to work in System 6, or do I need to look for earlier, System 6-specific video cards and software? I know that there are often issues with Nubus cards under System 8 or 9, but what about System 6?
