what is the newest OS that the colour classic (Not the colour classic II) can run?

unless you have an 040 upgrade then you can get OS 8 (presto plus just to name 1) and possible 640x480 hack.

If you have a Colour Classic II you can run 8.1 with hacks, if you have enough RAM.
