National Instruments GPIB Board for Mac SE

Hello,

I got a nice GPIB-Board for my Macintosh SE, including manuals. Maybe the informations are insteresting for somebody of you.

Now I am searching for a version of NI Labview for my SE. Maybe somebody knows where to get this?

That's an impressively large board to just supply an IEEE-488 port.

It's interesting how the board has solder pads for an 68881 and a DMA controller. Perhaps they might of used the same physical board for an SE/30 version? (Spoken out of ignorance, I haven't seen either in the flesh so I don't know mechanically how similar the PDS slots are between the two.)

Hello Gorgonops,

sorry for the late reply. I don't think that the board was supposed to fit in a SE/30 as well. The SE/30 slot has more pins, which are not provided on the board.

But in the short form catalog spring/summer 1990 (which I got whith the board) is stated:

- Optional Motorola MC6681 numeric coprocessor

- Optional MC68440 DMA Controller for data rates as high as 1 Mbytes/s

Of course my board has neither the one, nor the other option. :b&w:

In the catalog LabVIEW 2 is presented as well. Has anybody an idea how to get this? Maybe someone has a copy/image? It would be great to see how this software (which I use in my job in the 2010 version, by the way) was 20 years ago...
